Tomas Redrado is the founder of TOMAS REDRADO ART (TRA), a gallery dedicated to exhibiting and promoting the work of Latin American artists. With locations in Miami, José Ignacio (Uruguay), and Buenos Aires, TRA supports the international projection of contemporary art from the region.
Tomás's interest in art emerged from personal and shared experiences within the cultural sphere. After studying International Relations, he decided to connect his academic background with his passion for art. In 2020, he founded TRA with the goal of creating a space that fosters dialogue, visibility, and growth for Latin American artists. In 2022, the gallery opened its doors to the public from its Miami location.
Through a committed engagement with the contemporary scene, the gallery works to position Latin American art within the global landscape.

Assuming the role of Regional Director, Latin America at Tomás Redrado Art means participating in a process of expansion that is not merely geographic, but conceptual. It implies rethinking global circulation from the South, and positioning Latin American practices within broader international conversations without diluting their specificity.
In a context shaped by acceleration, visibility, and aesthetic standardization, we defend contemporary art as a form of critical intelligence—capable of producing meaning, friction, and alternative futures beyond market-driven narratives. Our commitment is to support artists in articulating their work with freedom, rigor, and international projection.
From Buenos Aires and José Ignacio, we cultivate networks of exchange between artists, collectors, and institutions, understanding Latin America as a constellation of intensities rather than a single voice. This platform operates as a hemispheric bridge, where affect, materiality, and political imagination remain central to the work we do.

Tomas Redrado Art operates across Miami, Buenos Aires, and José Ignacio as a platform for contemporary practices rooted in Latin American and North American perspectives with global reach. Through exhibitions, residencies, and programming, we foster conversations that bridge generations, identities, and disciplines while remaining grounded in community-centered and low-impact models.
We view contemporary art as a living record of the human condition—its desires, tensions, politics, and evolving cultural forms. Our program emphasizes materiality and sensory experience, bringing forward works that confront textures, technologies, and the shifting politics of the body.
Committed to beauty, play, and critical engagement, the gallery presents art as both proposition and instruction: a space where objects challenge, resonate, and reveal the urgencies of our time.

TOMAS REDRADO ART (TRA) is committed to promoting the appreciation and recognition of contemporary art through a dynamic and historically grounded aesthetic. Since its founding in 2022, the gallery has worked to build a vibrant artistic community, representing emerging and mid-career artists from Latin America whose works explore the boundaries of form, texture, and materiality. Through sustained and dedicated engagement with contemporary practices, TRA aims to position its artists' productions within the international art circuit.
TRA challenges conventional perspectives and encourages the exploration of innovative artistic forms, prioritizing the creative autonomy of artists and fostering an environment where breaking boundaries and engaging closely with the public are central.
With headquarters in Miami and José Ignacio, a temporary programming in Buenos Aires, and a forthcoming new location in the same city, TRA seeks to foster dialogue between local and international art scenes. Its mission is to create meaningful exchanges that reaffirm its commitment to connecting the region's cultural richness with the global stage, generating an impact that transcends borders through a program that is rooted yet constantly moving and evolving in dialogue.
In 2025, TRA consolidates this vision by participating in five key international art fairs — arteBA, ArtBo, BA Photo, Paris Photo and NADA Miami — expanding visibility and collecting opportunities for its artists and strengthening its presence in the global contemporary art scene.
